You are wrong i'm afraid.. Mk2 tubbies have a bad reputation... you can spin them VERY easily. Thats why us mk1 boys like the winter as we buy the salvage and stick the motors into Mk1s... or v6 camry engines, but thats another story

hmm..as with any car you have to know where the limits are..and yes i will admit if you go over it.she will slap you hard in the face...ive had a go in my brothers 2 before he took it off the road to turn it into a beast..and yes it was amzinly quick..made me want one straight away, but yet again its the bloody insurance companys thinking i must be a chav boy racer thats going to stack it into the first happy shopper i see!

a bloke i know bought a rev 1 mr2 turbo and even though the handling was meant to be dodgy he managed to keep it under control throughout the winter months. he drives like a complete tool. lead foot and drives too fast.

Good strong engine,it's a toyota so it's built properly. The only thing to really watch i would reckon is driver error.
