if u have nothing good to say or to help me then why are u posting on here? i dont understand? and btw on websites before it was saying "toyota starlet GT, and also toyota starlet gt turbo... and these were like 1994 models. U think i care who is going to rip me? :S LMFAO honestly, your stupid.

I can tell you now, Midnight-Glanza sure doesnt look like the stupid one advising a new member not to insure the care ilegally.

But as said up to you. You already on thin ice as it is with your previous convictions, you might as well walk around with your pants down waiting to get bummed.

guys, u know before when you's were saying "the insurance would be void", is that just the same as not declaring on ur insurance that you've 'added a spoiler, alloy wheels etc' wouldnt the insurance be void if you didnt declare them too? :/

it can b altho insurers do let u pay extra for having alloys on that u havnt told em about as one of my mates found out when u crash, your actually supposed to tell them if u change anything thats not considered stock including radio's etc etc... n lots of ppl dont declare mods bt some insurer's are now taking the view that if youve spent a lot on modding ur nt going to want wreck it so they now even lower the premiums in some cases for certain mods.... infact i think ollie from sky insurance posted something on this forum a few week ago regarding different contributing factors to insurance premiums.

I think you have to have this clear in your head mate.

If you do not insure a car as what it is (Engine/modifications/year/etc) then the insurance is void. Basically if you are driving a Glanza V you should insure it as a Glanza V.

If the insurance is void the responsibility lies with you. You will be prosecuted. The insurer can walk away from any mess laughing. You will take the full hit on the consequences.

It sounds like you made a mistake at one stage and it would be wrong to let you make another without being properly advised.

i'm not too sure about the extent to which insurance cos see not declaring alloys etc not sure if it's a completely voidable act, i'm think engine mods would be though? would obviously be worse if it was a different car where they're sure to discount any insurance- edit Jays put it wel

Soz about being harsh in the other post anyways

no probs. Just looks like i'm going to have to wait. my friend suggested just getting insured on my parents car but i dont think the insurance company would cover me on a impreza sti with 430 bhp never mind a glanza V. really big shame this, i wanted a glanza, almost bought one the other day, glad i didnt.

when you do come to insure one whether it be next week or next few years if its a glanza v n when they send u your insurance cert if it says gt turbo n a reg of 1995 on like mine first did make sure to ring em up, they never corrected it on the document bt made sure i had them log it at their side as a glanza v 1998 reg as it didnt exist on their system bt they did insure them. just make sure you do double check with them if this ever happens that they do have it logged somewhere

lmao its funny how much SXi's are over say Comfort corsa's n ther both same engine size... so u mite b better just skipping owt like sports models as midnight said n thn just making a non sporty type model look nice, thers no point spending all your cash on a car your not planning on keeping... i'd say a sukuki swift but i think ther still worth quite a bit second so may not b a cheap to purchase and as they look pretty nice standard with some nice alloys on n lowered slightly on em or is that just my opinion haha
