It's out of order the protests and hurling abuse at the Soldiers who protect our country and fight for our independance is just bang out of order.

Whatever the reasons for going into war remain irrelevant right now as going over them wont fix anything. It gets me how people protest at the rights of prisoners as if they had not been captured they would have been shot so which is worse?

We should applaud our national service men who fight for the Brittish army as they risk their lives for us.

they're risking the lives for our government to make money on oil???

Thats incorrect mate, MOST of the soliders do nothing wrong but there are some of them you are hatful bastards and kill for the sake of killing. At the end of the day they are trained to kill and some of them take advantage of this. I agree that they are brave etc for going and fighting for their country but still doesnt give them the right to kill whoever they want.
Its simple the UK have a very narrow mind when it comes to muslim etc take the boy who was shot in the train station by armed police men who thought he was a terriorist but it turned out to be mistaken identity and an innocent man was killed for no reason on his way to work.
At the end of the day there is no right answer to this. The soliders are brave and I certainly wouldnt risk my life for any country but they also are scum who kill innocent people for no reason other than they think they have the right to. Also they dont just kill them it has been reported of them raping muslim women, do you think they have the right to do that??
To say they are fighting for the country is grand but what is the country fighting for????? Oil and money simple as.....

Lots of things have came out about troops in Iraq shooting innocent people they may have been caught in the crossfire etc but still gives them the right to say what they like. At the end of the day its a free country even the troops said that themselves.
Most troops are probably good but to say that NONE of them have done things wrong and killed innocent people is just narrow minded.
Also to say they are just in there to get rid of terriorists is again narrow minded as they are there for oil also. Not the troops but the government.
I dont want a arguement about this as its fact and has been on the news also. Just thought I would share my opinions on this.

Yes they have freedom of speech and they should every right to protest(as I myself am not exactly 'for' the war), but it was TOTALLY the wrong place to do it. If they have a problem go to the government and complain PEACEFULLY (None of these banners about beheading and bombing). Dont go shouting hatred at people who HAVE to go out there as part of their job as they dont have a say in where their country puts them. I mean think about it they've just been fighting in a hell hole where most likely some of their friends have died. Then when they get back hoping to see their families, friends and homeland instead they're greeted by yet more of the same hatred thats getting them killed out there! Absolutely boils my piss!!

Thats the people im calling scum, I respect the troops for fighting for the country as you never know when you would need them but the ones who kill/rape innocent people are scum and I challenge anyone to say different and if you do say different then you are scum also. Troops killing troops is fine as all the troops sign up knowing that they may die in war but the innocent families do agree to anything but get killed anyway just because they get in the way.
Also orders always come from the top so either the troops are reckless maniacs or they are told while in a war situation as in hostile fire then kill everything in sight as I said in my first post some are killed in crossfire.
As I said I wont agrue about this as anyone who thinks that innocent people deserve to die are scum themselves and I wont talk to any of them. What if it was the other way about and the Iraq army was over here trying to 'help' our country and also where here for money and oil and they killed innocent people inthe UK, what would you do?? totaly agree dude, all off the iraqs who fight with the british will also tell you that the taliban preach alot of things like british murder your women, rape ur women, kill your children! ect ect to try and build up hate agaisnt the troops as they know there losing the war! it would seem alot of these things also get preached over hear to.

I live in Dunstable, the town right next to Luton and tbh its a bloody stupid place to have a military parade! It has a rediculously high asian/muslim population so what do you expect? I think its bloody disgraceful that these people 'protested' they have no right to! They live in this country, they buy food in this country, they use the NHS, the use the police, fire brigade etc and yet they still complain about things this country does. It really does piss me off, at Christmas there was a whole load of shit because the asian/muslim popultaion were kicking off about the christmas decorations offending them here in Luton. If they dont like it then either dont look at them or fuck off somewhere else. These 'protesters' were just out to cause trouble & its exactly what they did, really did hit a nerve hearing about this the other day, disgusting imo!

I agree there ARE a small minority of idiots and I also agree that those type of people, in the situations you described ARE scum. But, not once have I seen any actual REAL evidence of rape etc happening out there. The idiots in the forces are kept in the lower ranks because of their attitude and are kept inline by their superiors who are put in place because they are reliable enough not to commit scum-like acts and are also able to control the ones are more likely to. Sorry but I will still view our forces as a whole as reasonable people so I am not going to be persuaded by some news station (who are in it to make money with big headlines) that has NO evidence and a dubious story to begin with.
