Don't know on the shafts but Torque-steer would not be anywhere near as pronounced as the GT...for the lack of, you guessed it...torque :homer: Besides, torque steer usually results from high amounts of low-end torque in the lower gears, seeing as the 4A only really provides power near the redline, it shouldn't be too much of an issue even when thoroughly modified
Not much torque steer. Just youl know theres something worn when you break and it pulls to the side. Just something to watch out for man.

They're good cars mate. The 6-speed box drops into the powerband lovely on acceleration, so it makes for a swift car... I've got a 1999 BZ-G, and I likes it very much! Once I get it UK registed, it's on it's way though...

That TRD Trueno has apparently sold .
The advert is still on eBay and Pistonheads, so I don't believe it myself, but meh. Going to have to hunt about for one me-thinks, there's only a couple for sale at the moment!
EDIT:- Hmm, things aren't too bad. It seems not everyone puts "AE111" in the advert title, searching for just Levin or Trueno brings back more results, one of which being this...

yeh i phoned up about that too and got told it was sold yesterday (tuesday) since readin your post im bang on them again
i made a thread in october about these and info on them, i think iv fallen in love gain!

i didnt like the mileage on that one hopefully its a typo and its in km. as in your post im asking for a px on my glanza for one. that seller dont reply to emails i found.
the one who sold the trd one said he imports alot and to keep looking as hed be interested in a px.

Yeh, I think that would be in KM's, so about 75k miles ish. I did send them an email, not heard anything as yet. The other guy with the TRD one did reply, just to say it was sold. No mention of being interested in a PX though.

well il keep looking! i hope i sell me glanza, but by the looks px maybe a option.
i was talking to my tuner yesterday, he said my management, and fuel regulator can be put on to these cars, and would see a gain... so the parts out of my starlet can go on this.. then he was beggin me to keep the boost controller so he can turbo it. i think he thinks im made of money (wish i was)
