the plastic intake pipe is very restrictive mate, if you take it off and have a look you will see how small it reduces to in places, try a front mounted airfilter instead of the stock intake pipe,

also as people have said dyno results can vary wildly from place to place so i wouldnt worry to much, this coupled with the ever so slightly smaller boost pressure to the normal upgrade and the stock intake pipe could be the reason why it seems fairly low,

the graph seems quite smooth as well, by the sounds of it the guy doesnt really seem to know starlets that well, possibly try a dyno dynamics rolling road and see what happens.

i have a blitz decat. what is the afr and how do i move it? the turbo is 8months old and was new from midland turbo's.

the story is...
my mate has a colt czt. i have done a lot of work including,custom FMIC,janspeed sport cat ,exhaust etc etc INC A REMAP in halifax and his car now kicks 215.2bhp from stock of 150. in s stright line mine eats his for breakfast.lunch and tea. but on the rollers its showing bott all. LOL! hes taking the p+ss outer me.

he has a decat phil :) and i agree meshed turbo ftw...and its ok saying if it feels good on the road but if you put a lot of effort in you want to get a good idea of how much power you have made and if its not what you wanted course hes going to want more just like all of us in the search for more power isnt he lol! :)

My glanza is standard except for the exhaust, and is putting out 140bhp, even though you've only got 17 more bhp, i garantee you would pull like mad way from me on the road. not all down too what the roller says.

Your running stock inlet track? That will knock off at least 5hp, some dynos would maybe show 10hp. You will be getting nice toasty inlet temps, colder air = more oxygen molecules for combustion = more performance. Get it done.

Overall I think that's not a bad result, you will always get people saying well I got 742hp with a stock CT9 but dynos are all different, you can meat up results easily which many do as it's good for business.

Yep, pinch of salt needed. Figures mean naf all really just for peice of mind.

cheers guys. i'll mesh the turbo, replace the 4 branch manifold and save up for a TD04 conversion from Toby....

once that is all done i'll take it to a place who dont do dastek lol!!

one question.... what mesh do i use and where do i get it?? would a wine makers sell it as they ferment the wine over and over again which involves sieving the liquid several times.

lol! not sure about that mate but the mesh from a sieve works fine yes if its the same type :) same mesh as i have on my turbo works well...

hi guys, ive meshed the turbo replaced the inlet mani and also upped the boost. i have got to say that meshing the tubby makes it spool up a lot faster. overall the car seems more reponsive.
Its booked back in for another RR in 2 weeks time. wish me luck.

sounds ok, but you still dont actually have the car tuned! get that fcon/gcc setup!
10 afr, is way to rich! go searching for high 11's and then watch your fuel economy increase and your power even more so. we are all fed up hearing it but alot is in the tune.

last page you threatened to throw a td04 kit at it!, but honestly you want to feel and hear your car running a good tune :) like a new car!!
