4000 is about 75% easily of what an ek9 is worth. so it sill be written off. its an uneconomical repair

Yea why are they touching the door, and the wheel looks fine, £65 for wheel alighnment!!! It's at the very most £20 near me. Also the bonnet doesn't look to bad and I'd imagine could be repaired.

I'd get a second opinoin.

i paid over 7k for the car, in the condition it was, it was probably worth nearly 8k, and silver being very rare.

i have told the guy if i get it back i want it perfect.

but in the eyes of insurance it wont be worth that. in theyre eyes its a w reg honda civic. theyre not going to care if its an ek9 or not. anything not to pay out, cunts. i wouldnt be expecting any hurry from them either. it took them a year to get my money to me, i had to take a bank loan out to cover myself for another car

you can also argue the toss with them, and they will want printed proof, from piston heads and auto trader etc of how much the car is worth, and they will adjust there payout accordingly

if they pay out. i paid £1600 for my 1st starlet and they offered me £850?? had it insured for 2500.

well trader on ek9.org selling a silver ek9 atm, mine was as good if not better condition and it's up for about £7800.
