Totally gutted for you mate, hope you can sort it ok. 
I was reading some leaflet for new drivers once, and it even said on there to never ever claim liability. I was thinking, what sort of shit is that?

I'm very sure it states that on your insurance details to, or at least it did on my old Quinn terms and conditions book.

It's something the insurance deals with, so taking liability right away would be unfair etc.. Insurance companies get paid by us to deal with with cases, it's not a one way story which is heard on roadside, this is for police reference.
It's all a scam if you ask me.

Sorry to see the damage there mate, going on experiance the insurance company may right it off (my mx5 was a right off with a dented door) however this would mean the car would need a vic test/mot inless you go for the cash in leu settlement - they gave me 1k and got to keep my car to fix the door and was not declared a write off so no bad history either.
At the end of the day looking at the pics it's clearly her fault and must have been on your side of the road etc.... Keep pushing to make her admit liability and if she don't tell your insurer's your talking her to court.
The women that went in to me admitted liability at the scene of the accident and then told her insureres if was my fault etc (she reversed out a drive in to the side of me) it's clear to what happened, good luck with it mate.

if you have 5k to repair.. then il give you 1.5k for the car as it is and your doing a good deal! lol
change work shop or do it yourself.. it looks like you only have olt on parts to change!!
thing is though mate, the cars was IMMACULATE before and thats how i want it back if i get it. it was the insurers body shop who have quoted, i might take pics and the breakdown of there prices to another body shop i know locally.

that a pretty high price but as said it would have cost 1500 for them to replace my door on and mx5 and would have been a write off because of that, i repaired it for £70! so had 930 spare!
If you can get a cash in leu settlement to save the extra hassle and you'll be able to fix it with a bit of cash spare (providing theres no major hidden damage)

x2! Just what I was thinking! Possibly wheel hub, wheel, brake caliper and brake is well. Possibly all the wheelmounts on that side are buckled is well?
