My lack in boost pressure?

My bro had his MR2 REV3 written off a couple of weeks back so in process of takin the turbo off his and wacking it on mine..... so cars still off road at the moment

Oh and i havent got a boost controller fitted adam....

any idea what the problem was?? having the same problem, been running the car fine all day, boosts like it should, put a fmic on and the guage dosnt go above 0bar,

was this problem resolved???

Yeah man it was my turbo that had gone. I put my bros turbo on and worked fine....

PS if you have noticed no boost what so ever straight after fitted a FMIC then i can only put that down to a loose pipe etc(boost leak)

ok, well lets hope so, turbo was fine wen i last drove it, will check all pipes in the day, would a loose vacuum hose be a problem or would it jus be the main joiners?

to loose all boost i would put it down to a large leak in a joiner or a boost pipe itself.....
