yes as there is no size / difference in shape of the engine, its using the same 4efte head also which the turbo bolts too, only internals differ

the kit can be made to fit 5e. just let me know when ordering as we have to supply a slightly longer downpipe.

dave: main advantage being the maximum power that can be achieved from the td04. most ct9 hybrids max out on or around the 200-210bhp mark(roughly). our hybrid td04 allows you get to or close to the 300hp mark without issue.

Thanks for that mate. I was a bit lazy and didnt use the search function. One thing i wont be doing though is forging the engine. Wouldnt an un-forged engine suite a hybrid ct9 setup?

besides this kit, and forged pistons what else do I need to hit 300hp like you say?

Also: using it on 4e what would be the max power?

Thanks for the info...

Cheers.

i would make another post mate.

but engine management, bigger injectors, and more than likely a set of cams

so exhaust and everything should still bolt up

as is even common on the ct9 set up with a 5E.....u MAY need to have your exhaust slightly lenghtened----about 10mm.....some people have flexipipes and have no issues:)......but is will be nothing major

this kit should work with the 5e set up:)

PS -i now realised sacha would do a slightly longer d/pipe for the 5E,,,so u can use that option too...LOLOLOL...as its far easier....lol

hey mate..
apart from the kit you'd want to sort our your fuelling and programmable ecu of some sort. cams not really needed to hit the 300 mark although it will make the job easier. as for a built bottom end..thats totally upto you. i know the trend here is to forge..even for td04L..but i know plenty of people running stock bottom end in the 300hp range(including our no:2 demo car) without any issues. its all down to how youre set up and youre tuner at the end of the day.

Hey sacha, great piece of kit that has seriously caught my eye :p How much would it cost for the external wastegat kit minus the FMIC, but including the pipe from turbo to FMIC ?

thanks a lot, for your answer, with unforged engine you mean with a 5e right?
you supply aftermarket cams?

also, when forging a 5e, do i have to use the forged pieces of a 4e or 5e?

Thanx

cheers

hey guys..
its cheaper if you buy the whole kit as the price drop without the fmic isnt much.

external kit without fmic--$2550usd shipped
regular kit without fmic--$2200usd shipped

we will not part the kit out any further. if you need the kit minus anything other than the fmic then everything will go on "individual" cost basis. the cost of each individual part can be found on the first page on my original post.
