Ogura racing clutch ???

The whole clutch and flywheel assembly is definately lighter, but yes the clutch and pressure plate alone are heavier than stock.

I think it was posted up here that the whole lot is 15% lighter overall, the only scales I used when I fitted mine were my hands, so I can't say for sure.:p

i have one on my car. can say for sure you get funny looks sitting at traffic lights or driving through town. :p ive had it for 4 weeks now and am now used to the sound. endless explanations are tiresome though. ah well awesome clutch.

thanks for the info guys i didnt no weather the bloke with the car i was looking at was trying to pull a fast 1 lol

I must have had a clutch/flywheel combo which was made heavier in the factory because the Ogura was NOT lighter then what I took out.

Well, I have to say that I didn't weigh them but by feel there was no notiable difference so don't get this expecting your revs to race to the redline, just concentrate on what it can handle.

It was an exedy 35% uprated plate and clutch cover that I removed and the blitz I put in definately felt lighter then the exedy and standard fly combined.

Very normal for these clutches to do this.

There is a ORC309 DS version which does not make the sound when suppressed however it is more expensive. Worth the extra though as some people may love the sound whilst others hate it.

When i had my ORC309 everywhere i went and stopped at meets etc people went that car sounds fu**ed eventually i got so tired of explaining myself that i went for a different clutch in my new GT that i had in Dec 07.

Now i run the Cusco 4.1kg flywheel and the Exedy cerametallic Clutch.
