i bought a new set of coilovers once, cos my ones had burst and the same week my engine went bang, and i had to rebuild that for another £600
at the time i was only taking home about £800 per month, and somehow i managed to scrape through, luckily work had some overtime going werent a lot, but every little helps.

Sorry to hear this mate I know how it feels only happened to me about a month ago. Didn’t have a con rod go but the pistons still cracked so know whats its like mate gutting is not even the word.

lol cheers Syd. Had a sit down and a think and things may not be that bad. Say it costs a grand to sort out, I'll put it on my credit card, pay it off until dec/jan time and then I get my 7 1/2 year bonus from the RAF, that'll cover any remaining debt. So not the end of the world I guess. I just know that once its forged I'll be tempted to do something daft though! lol
