yeah.. happy ramadhan for all muslim here! let's share the joy and happiness in this month and together we'll celebrate the eidulfitri with the other non muslim members here. ;) happy fasting and happy ramadhan.

u muslim boys really have it hard :eek: i for one really wouldnt b able to handle fasting like that.. but i suppose if it helps u strenghten ur believes etc, then its worthit :)

i assume you dont have to fast for the whole month? sorry stupid question, i would die i think

i did a few 24/48/72 hour fasts for concern - they are hard work, drink plenty of fluids

what does ramadan etc translate into english?

like does it mean the great starvation or something?

and why do you have to not eat that seems a bit crazy to me like what is the moral for it kind of thing

Been there, done that, never again (Long story, basically my ex Wife was Muslim, so for 4 years I didn't eat pork, drink and I fasted at Ramadan). :eek:

i think its really awsome that the muslim guys take there religeion seriously... trust me i have cousins who are muslims and i see what they go through this time of the year... but i enjoy breaking fast with them at the end of the day cos we all get to eat all the yummy treats on hand ( even though i dont fast )LOL!!!

any ways happy ramzaan to all our brothers and sisters of the muslim faith, i think its really awsome that we all go along very well inspite of our different religeons...

p.s. iv always admired the passion that goes into the muslim faith... ( only the good kind of passion )

Its only 10:50Am and im starving, lol. Oh well, am just gonna go to sleep till about 7 then go to mosque for a munch.

Hows everyone else finding it?

is going to be hard this year, think these the hardest ones in my life time i have done so far. any brothers from around derby/birmingham ends?

I occasionally go a day or two without food out of choice but if its kinda morally enforced i can imagine its hard work. Good luck to you all.
