A big thanks to you all for your support, I don't know how I would of managed to get over it with out your encouragement. I have her back now...It's MUCH worse than i thought, but the one thing is that it's still perfectly driveable, so the mechanical side of things is business as usual...it's just the windscreen, roof and door tops that are totally screwed. The engine still sounds sweet as a nut.
Wow, some people are heartless lol.
ToyotaGTTurbo.com has changed recently, quite a lot too.
Hope you get your car sorted DriveR, or get another and transfer bits over. I feel for you, especially with it being such a silly mistake We've all made them, and iits just pot luck whether or not you get away with it.

Thanks guys, I really need another car ASAP I think...so the likelihood of me going on another starlet escapade is low I'm afraid. Just doesn't fit in with my life at the moment regrettably. SOooooooooooooo annoyed as she's been my project all these years, I've been building her up from the inside out, the icing on the cake was going to be a respray in a particularly menacing yellow, with my wheels sprayed black, and my CF bonnet fitted. Just had fuelling, ECU, FMIC and setting up on the dyno left to go enginewise.......Damn!!!!
I guess for most people a bright yellow bar right in front of them might do the trick? Too many people in this country try to palm the blame off for their own stupid mistakes, and no offence Rob, but this was a stupid mistake. I won't be able to walk up stairs without a sign before every step soon! Maybe braile signs for the "blind" drivers though, or maybe a massive "here be a bright yellow bar in front of you" siren.
