yeah any glanza i seen inside had the greyish seats look abit like the ones in a ford galaxy my dad has!? abit sortof gash granny spec lookin!

black with red and blue eh? sounds nice actually :)

dont take all the micra comments to heart mate! u cant say they dont look like them from the rear? we are only winding not trying to upset!

the glanza is basically the same car as the gt only dearer(standard vs standard) with a rather softer look!

Its always been that way mate... Gt owners are all fat hence they need the lightweight GT and don't need the extra safety or airbags, as their flubber deals with any impacts nicely.:p

The seats in a GT are much better than the 96/97 glanza items which offer no support at all.

My glanza "only" has a ct9a so must be the slowest car ever according to this thread.:(

Yeah, both cars are very similar and in terms of speed, both are really the same once you start modding.

I once went out in Stevie_B ' s Livesports Glanza and that convinced me that i NEEDED one, so i bought the EP82 cause i thought it looked more aggresive and was more of a rarety.

Id say go and drive oneyou'd be surprised.

I love that lil ace card for Glanza owners because it's sooo petty! so you openly admit you paid more for looks over performance? like paying £80 to get your hair cut when GT owners would be happy letting their mum cut it for free so he can spend £80 on mods!

i'd quite happily sell my evo and go back to a GT over a Glanza any day! so money isn't the reason! :haha:

@ts have you driven either car yet glanza or gt??take a good spin and you will be convinced:Dgreat car for the money and soo much potential.

and id have a glanza anyday over the granny gt:p

the topic was why pick a starlet/glanza in the first place, people seem to be missing that part! anyway, the question should be reasons why not to buy one.

if you like toyota reliability, small cars, turbo car, tuning cars etc, then you will be happy with either car.

But on a serious note, if you want a car that feels like the doors are gonna fall off at anything over 80mph get a GT, if not get a Glanza!:teach: lol

the interior in the 98-99 spec is not grey - although its been so long since Ive seen my baby I nearly forgot hehe.

Lads take it easy I actually like the GT V's Glanza threads cause they always make me smile. As far as I am concerned they are essentially the same car but look a little different. I love the shape of Glanzas and I think the GT looks good too but at the end of the day... ahh feck it I cant be reasonable here...

The glanza is much faster and does 0-60mph 3 seconds quicker than the GT... its also rumoured that the stigs daily driver is a Glanza - it used to be a GT but he found it a bit slow.

Did anyone else notice that the dude who started the thread has'nt actually given any feedback at all to what he is doing he just started it and left it? Basically wound us up and let us go lol:haha:

LOL thats what I was gonna say, the thread started off as reasons to get a starlet turbo, now it's become a bitchfest between glanzas vs GTs haha and the joe guy hasnt even replied! oh and for the record GTs are sooooooooooooooo much better, even my gf has said glanzas look like more of a girls car :p:p:p hehe (poking the fire some more)
