strange noise again from turbo?

no u dont even have to rev it hard. u can give it a tiniest blip and it makes this horrible sound. its not a chatter sound.really wish 1 of u lads was here then u would understand

Well tbh mate, we dont have much to go on a strange noise could mean anything.

its coming from the intake dave. but its not a normal sound as u would expect from the intake

but its deff not a turbo problem. cause im giving it the tiniest of blips and it makes this noise.as this is th 3rd turbo. will get a vid up within the next 10mins

hey steve u should maybe go to a specialist for this one..becuz u went thru one hybrid and got good results with it and suddenly the noise came..same thing with another hybrid and now again with ur stock turbo....have you checked to see if the oil pressure is good on ur turbo or engine? becuz a starvation of it can lead to that noise also...a good experienced opinion will set u well rather than speculating all the time and not sure..and u can maybe even damage ur stock turbo in this way..

dunno sam. engine sounds great.no nast sounds. apart from that strange sound will be putting vid up in abit. no smoke out of the exhaust

sounds like an air leak to me...change ur filter and see what happens

ive even took the filter off and the efi and it still makes it.it was doing it with ur turbo's 2 sam

Its the sound of the air being sucked through that metal pipe when the throttle butterfly opens.

Check the jubilee clips around the metal pipe which the filter is connected there could be a small leak somewhere but its doubtful.

If you remove the metal induction pipe which has the HKS filter on it see if it still makes the noise.

I dont think its anything to worry about.

it is somthing to worry about as stated above my car was fine for 750miles. then i set off from the lights and then it made this noise.and when ud rive it u can hear it it sounds weired. ive had it with the efi pipe off and no filter an it still does it:homer:

its somthing i dont really wanna do sam.im lost really dont know what it is.if u take the efi pipe off.it comes from the turbo? but this is my 3rd turbo..never experianced anything like this..had my fair share of turbo's cars
