Might cost too much to hire a track just for TTGT and may not get the numbers. Why not just book on an open trackday?

We may not ALL get out at the same time, but we will still get out in groups.

When I did the open pit day, it was about £120 from 9-5!!

I can’t see the point in this… you can do that anytime

I think having a TGTT day is the best idea there are how many thousands of members I am sure for something like this we can get a club day with ease it’s so bloody cheap and it will really give everyone a much better experience imo..

Great opportunity for people to really show off there different setups ect..

Just had a quote from Castle Combe too, rather good price but a maximum of 12 cars on the track at any one time. Means it may not be as worth it when you consider others a a bit more and it's pretty much open pit.

what was the qoute?? 12 cars is a good number, can either do an open pit lane with max of 12 on track, or do groups of 12, ie 3 groups of 12 and you get 6 lots of 20 mins sessions - give the cars time to cool down.

coombe is a good track, great for people who have never been on a track day before - easy track to learn.

I agree 12 cars on track at a time is a good number will offer less confident people the opportunity to get use the there car and the track.

Plus I love combe lol

To get onto a decent track it may cost more than people are willing to pay to hire a track for just TGTT members.

Yes, you can do it anytime...? The point was to get all members to go to the same open day.

Like I say, only a suggestion. Maybe we will get a decent quote on a more well known track for the day, just for us. Maybe it will be a TTGT first and we get a decent number of members that will attend!

I agree, it will be better if we can get us all on the same track on the same day etc etc

Just something to keep in mind, just incase.

Thats all.

Just done the numbers, but because of the 12 on track it's not very good and would require big numbers to get the price to an acceptable level. Would take 48 at £160 each.

I'd be interested but am not going to commit as I never had a hope of making Trax.

I assume you don't need a car with an MOT to attend the track session, unlike events like Trax etc.
