def need to keep the members car threads or transfer them all over etc. peoples car threads are up from day 1 following all the progress threw years of their cars. you cant take that away. can u not have a poll if people wanna keep the members car section? its only fair

You can move it all over yourself though, just copy and paste it all, it won't take that long...

cheers Gee, spotted that one last night thanks for the reminder will get it sorted asap :)

I must admit it does take a bit getting the hang of but seems to be getting a lot of traffic at the moment so will be good to see how it goes.

Is there a way of putting a little custom box of your mods or a link to a .txt page with the mods or something?

My list is massive and dont want it taking up half of the first page LOL

I would even consider becoming a member for this alone, yet one thing still bothers me.. The ability to upload pictures direct to the site, none of this photophucket crap.. I just takes far to long!

I have configured it so it displays the list of your modifications which is pulled from the mod list in your user cp. It displays on the right side.

If you guys dont like the look of this I can probably put an editable list in so you can manually edit it on your members car page on the side but I thought this was good because it means peoples mod list will display automatically if they have listed it in their usercp.


One other word of caution... this is YOUR thread so we are not going to mess with your photos.. if you put HUGE photos up your garage will look crap... some have put gigantic pics up and I dont know about others but I have just skipped past them and not even read them as the pics totally distort everything.

As for attaching pictures directly to your members garage, you can do that if you want once you are a paid member just like you can in the forum :)

Nice one mate,

For the technophobes out there... If you can't be bothered resizing images manually, or want thumbnails, host them at www.imageshack.us No registration required, and the photos get sized correctly, automatically, depending on what size you choose.

i don't get it on the mod list.
put some usless words in my modlist in the user CP and it don't show in my garage and in th edit mode it says No Mod

Hi I checked your profile and all you had in your mods was "a" I changed this to test mod1 2 3 and it is displaying in your garage. Everyone else that had a list is now being displayed automatically.

maybe a tip to look in to it if it could be <enter> sensitive
my list is to long now also.

Im also working on a way to display the latest cars on the main portal page but its tricky - worth doing in my opinion though.

Why can I not create image links from Photo Bucket? My copy and pasted ones are working OK thou??

Also, I can't find how to create a draft.
