i have to say by my experiance golf GTI's are highly overated!slow heavy things and whenever i have been in it i have been mildly unimpressed considering all the rave i hear of them.also all the meets i have tagged along too all the golfs/polos/lupos ect are all modded in almost identical fashion.hondas are well built cars although i must admit i am tired of hearing about vtec a few of my mates have them (b18 Eg's and EK's) and they are good fun cars although the vtec really dont do anything for me.i have a mate who has a G40 polo tuned pretty much to the limits before adding a turbo ect and its proberbly as quick as my standard GT so thats pretty pants considering the money paid to get it to a standard GT level.plus it has broken so many times he wants to sell it.thats my opinion though!
