Was watching the HKS darg wars from last year on TV the other night. Type R`s preped by tuning companies with turbos, nos and wrinkly wall drag tyres were managing low 12`s on a preped Santa Pod track.
Good luck at Bishopscourt with your 11`s.

but make the same power only smoother torque curve . Where as torque causes wheel spin .

but the guys running the 11s are running tires that can put down the 1.8s extra torque.
which is something im sure your purppose built drag car will have(big slicks/radials), meaning you would infact be able to use the torque, if you had it.
