Sorry to hear about the crash Toby Hope your better soon.

While I had my starlet in 2008 I never had a problem with anything I ordered from Toy Tuning and delivery times were excellent. If I do get another EP as I'm sure I will - Toy Tuning will be one of the first places I go for modification parts. It just seems its one bad thing after another in a rough patch for the company and things will pull through.

Just to let you all know I am up to date with emails and am down to the last day, today. From now on emails will be answered daily and we have also put a telephone number up to make life a little easier (although it didn't stop ringing all day - not a bad thing!). I will also offer the same free technical support as I did before.

We are awfully sorry for letting things get so far behind, I have removed around 30% of the products on the website. Don't worry we still sell one of everythnig there just isn't as much choice but each part regardless does the same thing, we have opted for the best quality parts only that have been tried and tested. We never intended for this to happen but it all grew so quickly that it was near on impossible to keep up, especially when I was tinkering with Starlets half the time.

Please bare with us as all orders are completed, come Feb we will be in full swing as we should be. Kevin is now entirely seperate from us and due to the accident I won't be working on any cars for a while so I won't be able to do any private weekend jobs, sorry to anyone that wanted some small work carried out.

Most importantly we will be quick with correspondance 100%, if a message comes through that day then it will be answered period as I will be here 24/7. I will be helping Martina with the orders tomorrow now that the emails are up to date. She still also has emails so fear not if you haven't had a reply you will do shortly as I will take care of them for her. I know a lot of you have had no problems but we have let a few slip and I apologise for this.

Anyhow we wish everyone a good new year and look forward to hearing from you all soon.

glad to see everything is sorting itself out and that your safe, im sure nobody wanted you off this site as you have been a big credit to it for a long time

Thanks Adam, it's just a shame as a lot of the newer guys didn't realise this but regardless we made a mistake and it won't be happening again.

its good to see how TGTT look after their memebers, and its nice to see how TT are going to bounce back. Sorry to hear about your crash toby. At least your alive and on the mend :)

Hello TGTT,

You may have noted a lack of input from our Admin team on this thread over the last day, this is merely due to the heavy discussion concerning this matter. I assure you all that it has been discussed with everyones best interest at heart.

Quite simply the lack of communication and poor standard of customer service is not acceptable by anyone's standards. As such it places Toytuning's trading status in severe jeopardy and casts doubt on our faith in the site's registered traders.

How we react to such unprofessional behaviour is obviously going to set the standard for our other traders in the future so to do nothing is shortsighted and foolish, at the same time we do not wish to appear misguided and ruthless. It has taken a great deal of deliberation on our part to agree a way forward.

Initial thoughts were dismissal, based on the substandard service and insane response times this is more than suitable grounds for such action. The only problem we had with this is that it would do more harm than good. Sometimes you have to think of the bigger picture and I for one feel that what Toytuning can bring to the community is worth something. We would like to remind Toby that this really needs proving as faith is running low.

We understand Toby has ceased trading until he can get a grip on his outstanding orders. This is a wise move and to assist we have created a resolution forum for any questions or issues relating to these issues. We trust this is seen as a useful addition for all worried or concerned customers.

We have also switched off the sales sections of the Toytuning trading forum until everything is suitably up to speed and to reduce distractions from the main objective. The trading forum will remain in this 'stand-down' mode for the moment.

Once everyone is satisfied that the operation is up to an acceptable standard full activity can resume but until then we ask that he fulfils any promises made and recovers from his injuries. To these ends we wish him well, the changes we have implemented will hopefully reduce the burden.

We hope that our decision and our actions are both seen as fair and understandable especially given the circumstances. At this stage it is now up to Toytuning to prove our faith in them.

No pressure huh?

Extremly well said in my opinion and just the right route taken.
