Corsa vxr would probably pip the starbo to the post.

But the fact of the matter is that most people on here enjoy owning a gt/glanza because its DIFFERENT. If you wanna be mr joe bloggs with his brand new vauxhall that his parents bought for his 18th then so be it!

JDM baby

I'am far from 18....my boy racer days are over...and i wish my parents bought it for me....

LOL I knew you would say that!!

Over a ton the EK9 is quite gutless....honest. I had one remember! A Skoda Fabia VRS with 185bhp and 295lb torque is going to beat a 185BHP EK9 with a 120lb torque.
My point is that torque IS important, thats why the Starlets are so much fun. In fact I reckon a standard Starlet Glanza probably has more torque than the EK9 too.
Does anyone have any figures???

Ok, you can have your opinion on the subject and i will have mine :)

PS, you say honest like i dont own one? I know what gutless is and i know what isnt, check out my other car. That should tell you i have a good wide comparison amongst cars. And im fair too to say what is shit slow etc... The EK9 (MY EK9) is not gutless after 100MPH... Keeps pulling and pulling very well.

So it seems you now understand, what i was trying to tell you this past wee while! :slap: :p

Get yourself in an old Civic or CRX, they go better than the EK9.
Dont need bucket loads of power or torque, for a car to be quick.

As for the VXR, Ive had a hurl in the Astra VXR Nurburg edition, Goes quite well.
Out performs my Starlet in a day to day basis, as a daily driver, hands down.
