What is a 1 bar starlet comparable to??

With mines @ 1 bar,ST focus' are boring.Type R's are close,can nail them to a "certain" speed then they catch up BUT if there driven properly they'll still dissapear from me Kept up with my mates scooby (very early import model) he was giving all the excuses under the sun that day Valver corsa's are the best,they rekon there the fastest ever.........bye bye.

My mates 51 plate typeR was neck and neck with mine at 1bar - mine was down on power too. if you are only turning the boost up I don't think you'll notice as much of an increase as you would with a decent decat and exhaust with same pressure. there was un unbelieveable difference between my mates @ 10psi vs mine when running 1 bar on ct9 with decat and exhaust you'll notice the torque difference at 3k. makes for a quick car. also it depends on the quality of the driver to what you can beat.

Ive not actually raced anyone but I let my sisters man drive my 225bhp starlet and he pointed out a spot he can get to 100mph to in his tuned and proven 341bhp WR1 and mine got to the same point at about 105mph.

So I was impressed, my brother used to own a GT and always told me how potent they are due to having no weight but i've never had any experiences due to being a fairly relaxed driver

Any stock Evo's will destroy a 1 bar Glanza very badly.

Agreed. It will be far quicker on excelleration...but if the evo is STOCK and restricted to 180kph a 1bar starlet (has to be derestricted to run that boost anyhow) will outpace it. Come on...you know full well @ 1bar a starlet can surpass the 180kph mark.

im sick of hearing this sort of thing.the evo would destroy him to 180 but then the starlet would cruise by if it wasnt restricted and the evo was,obviously.just cause you pass him at 180 when he is restricted doesnt mean you won the race

Evo will always win, period. Comparing a car against one with a limiter is daft. That means I could win in my wifes 1.3 Daihatsu against an Evo... Dur!

However, if you're talking maddly modded Starbo against an Evo, that would be interesting... Rolling start maybe, of the line, no chance.

And before anyone posts knowing better, I used to own an Evo 4...

stock evos are easily dismissed, modded evos cannot be touched
that is an excellent base for a big project

I wouldn't say that tbh. The stock evo was fast...rapid excelleration! The top-end let him down because of the speedcut. No speedcut and he would have had me easily. It seems like he didn't believe a GT would even stay with him to that point, much less surpass it when he couldn't. Oh the look on his face afterwards...priceless.

A starlet running 1.0bar with a Hybrid Ct9 is a totaly different story against a stock evo
