What is a p-sports glanza?

I have a P-sport Glanza and the numty that originally bought my car added extra's that seem to negate the weight saving aspect. It does have the manual windows but has the 98 spec black interior no the crap wipe-clean interior, electric mirrors although they are only electric adjusting and not electric folding. It also has abs and central locking just not remote central locking and it has a clock. It does run in high boost constantly and as Jay said it came with air-con like ALL Glanza's

@williamcarroll1982: well Will, one of the few ways to know is that it will most proli be a p-sport if it's missing abs, power windows, power mirrors, clock & if it has the strut brace bolts popping up from the rear damper mounts :D
that's my take. can anyone confirm..?

Ya but they were still offered as optional extra's from what I have read in this thread. I assumed that power windows were standard in the normal Glanza as were the electric retractable mirrors and that only the p-sport came with the manual windows and the constant high boost function ie. without the high/low boost button which mine did so that's why I assumed it was the p-sport. I didnt know about the rear strut brace bolts not being in the p-sport but if this is true then mine is not a p-sport as it has them which would make mine the TRUE poverty spec Glanza, a non p-sport model with manual windows lol

they all have the same im sure... check underneath the carpet william.. the 3 point strut brace secures to the bottom 2... my glanza had a white plastic thing going across the back of the seats under the carpet and theres 2 holes for bolts underneath it.. i had to cut out the center bit of plastic to fit the brace so i assume it never had a oem 3 point strut brace but they were there if i wanted to fit one

I dont think thats what he means or at least its not my understanding of what he means anyway. From what I can gather he means the two bolts at the top of each of the rear shock towers that remain even when the shock has been removed which are the bolts that the oem 3-point strut brace is bolted to. My understanding of what he is saying is that the p-sport did not have those.

I don't know, I just assumed it was because of all the stuff I listed above. You know way more that me so why do you think it isn't? :)

P-Sport V spec includes:

Wipeclean interior (includes plain grey doorcards) - You have a 1998 interior.
No dashclock - You have a dash clock.
High boost only - 10 seconds removes high boost, a few mins removes the solenoid and button.

Based on what I've seen she's a regular V with keep fit windys.

i suspect i may have been misunderstood earlier. i did mean that the p-sport HAS the top mount bolts for mounting the rear strut brace.. :)

Your dead right John, my brain wasn't working properly when I posted that reply lol

As far as I know EVERY Glanza has the bolts for the strut brace on the top of the strut towers, or at least I have never seen one without them
