Get yourself a good alarm and a Disklok. I've got one for mine, you'd need a road drill to get that thing off!

How much are they and where do i get the alarm from??

I want to get these fitted straight away, properly this weekend!

thats the only thing with buying a pretty stock car, once you start tuning it things show theyre age ie clutch, brake pads/discs etc. they come over here on that mileage when things start needing replacing.

if it were my id try buy one thats at least had a clutch recently changed. last thing you wanna do is fix problems as soon as you got it..

theres quite a few nice examples on www.pistonheads.com, worth a look :)

You're telling me lol!!! I had to learn the hard way with £300 for an uprated clutch!

@Lornce, its not neccessarily a bad thing if it isnt a fresh import! If it has been looked after like the lads and ladies do on this site, there shouldnt be a problem. You just have to bear in mind that it will have been subject to British roads (salt!) and generally higher miles. Fresh jap imports are usually known for being rust and corrosion free!

Yeah i understand that, but i thought it would be better for service history ect as it would be all in english lol :p.

Anyway does anyone know where the fourm is for buying a Glanza, tells you what to look out for etc. i saw it the other day and i'm gonna print it out to use.

Thanks:)

I know the Disklok's usually go for around 70 odd quid brand new, you could get one from Halfords but i bought a second hand one off ebay for £40. Best 40 quid I've ever spent if it keeps my car outside my house!
I'd look up alarm specialists on the web for somewhere near you.

This is true but obviously only the history since it has come into the country.

Anyway, I have actually sat in the car you pictured and revved her up when I went to to get mine. It seemed really nice but I didnt give it much of a look over as I had my heart set on the GT :quadgt::p!!! Sounded pretty smooth aswell if I remember correctly.

Bought mine from WRC, was mint apart from the usual wear and tear of a 10yr old car, has never missed a beat. Would buy from them again.

And i was wondering, Are these cars "A Thief's Dream"? I say this because i have heard alot of reports etc.

And if so what would stop anyone robbing it? :)

CAT 1 alarm, shotgun and some nasty ass dogs.

Every car is a car thiefs dream if the right 'stuff' is on show, cd player, sat nav, wallet, sound system.
