haha and to think that we laughed when OD cars over bored the last cylinder cause its the last to see coolant. genius he was genius lol/
that machine work made that car. the crank was inch perfect. thats right i said inch.
Which reminds me you arent a starlet owner (cliche i know) until you've phoned jay to tell him that HIS lovely reground crank and ACL race bearings are sitting in MY new engine. awkward moment that.

Starting to wonder if Im a real Starlet owner at all!
Over 240000kms on the clock, over 140000 of which are at 1bar on a hybrid and the engine hasnt given an ounce of trouble!
Have been through a gearbox, 2 turbo's and 3 or 4 mani's.
Oh and there was 2 times when I drove after forgetting to put back rad cap, temp hand in the red! Top it up with water and not a bother since.
What am I doing wrong?!
