Recently done the head, would this interfere with the safc 1 settings at all or would they not be disturbed threw the process,it's just the car is not running great and trying to narrow down the problem

Done the head gasket, when I put on the ignition the temp gauge went all the way to the top with the engine stone cold, anyone see this happen before? Cheers Shane.

Got a new head for the motor, got it back from the engineer without the shims in it, what do I have to do to get them back in and the cams, is it a tricky job? tried searching the site but could get anything, cheers Shane.

i was stripping the head today, all went okay except for the valve air controller which bolts in at the left side of the intake manifold. the pipe broke that goes into the manifold from the controller, how will i go about this? Thanks Shane.

do you have to remove it to see if it is in trouble, it is not leaking and there is no play in the outer shaft(belt removed).

hello everyone finally got the motor of the blocks, but now it is overheating. idle is ok at half temp but when driving it goes up, it has not bein drove in 3 years and there was none of this before being parked up, the thermostat is also out and defiently no air locks, any suggestions. Cheers...

had a new 65mm to use on the exhaust but it came apart it two,wud it be ok to still use?
