when fitting the hks actuator do i set the lenght to a low boost setting and then can i use my boost controller to turn it up as in set it to .6bar and turn it up from there? and is it true that you can only go up and not down past the predetermined boost on the hks actuator

is it possible to keep the high/lo boost feature when using a hks actuator?

thanks a million gtstu.. nah i seen a few different forums on the net and i was sure it was com to actuator but some clown said com was for the compressor so connect it to the turbo, threw me off, all is good so.

well lads, i just fitted my hks actuator and apexi avcr, just wondering do i connect the COM port on the solenoid to the actuator and the NO port to the turbo or the opposite way around,..

thanks for the reply durmz, not contradicting ya but i was told the injector was not needed and to wire the purple for engine rpm instead but on the acvr diagram it show rpm1 and rpm2???

well lads, i am trying to wire my avcr and was just wondering where to wire the purple wire to is it for rpm1 or rpm 2,

coil or distributor maybe? i had a similar problem and turned out to be my distributor was shot... maybe someone else can offer you a more specific answer

sound out lad, yeah i have a fmic, but standard mani. so all is good thanks a million lads, rep added lads.. that was just out of interest keiran, like if an fcd was fitted prior to the jam ecu would it make a differance or would ya have to remove the fcd? just purely out interest lad..

yeah it is on the standard ct9 lad, but do you know what boost level would be safe, but could i fit the fcd if wanted, it wouldnt mess with the map sencor due to the jam ecu:confused:

Kieran that hose from the solenoid to the old efi pipe was plugged with screw and when you said vent I just took out the screw. Should I do something with it cos I just left it thrown there open

Its like a faint screaming noise, I'm shit at explaining things lads. It gets louder the faster ya go and for some reason it is only when I am in hi mode. All reply greatly appreciated lads
