yeah, Grant, as alan stated, i was merely giving some advise, i think youve taken it offensively. How ever well you know starlets, at the end of the day no-one can ever guarantee a figure.

When youve made 400HP on that turbo(without NOS) then Nobody such as myself can have a say in it :)

But as i said, im looking forward to seeing some results and hopefully in action as sounds like this will be a bit of a wild one.

i agree with dan, your car isnt 400hp yet so you cant start calling it that lmao...

my car is 100000000000hp, isnt quite done yet but will be soon :p

neone want a 100000000hp starlet for sale?

ok i get all of your points and actually it is built now all done few minor issues to sort before its race ready but its built ... and think of it like this if you put a turbo on a car its a certain bhp but only if you use the turbo... if you put nos on a car its a certain bhp only if you use the nos its no different i payed to have the turbo built to make certain power figures also i payed to buy a nos kit both power adders both fitted to the car no difference both change the overall power figures no matter what they are.... see where im coming from ? and my message may have come accross a little hot headed but i assure you i havent taken offence

good luck hitting 400bhp. If you use nitrous or not is not really anyones business but your own. Do it for yourself mate.

Dan not taking a stab at you but in another thread you recently predicted QTR mile times... I dont really see the difference here. The lad is saying that is what he is aiming for with his build... he could have just as easily said "car will be a 10 or 11sec runner" no difference in my book. Fair enough the title could have been worded better as it kind of makes it sound like the car is already running 400bhp.

Look forward to hearing more about this car - not many people running nitous on here so it will be fairly unique.

appreciate the input thanks and ok yes could have worded it a little better... ill keep the site updated as to the progress of the mapping and look forward to laying down some good times soon... my current time just for the record was at an unprooven 200bhp on a ct9 hybrid my only dyno was at 180bhp 190lbs torque had more mods to 200 bhp ish and have time slip to proove 13.7 1/4 mile at santapod so will be interesting to see the difference a td05 hybrid and nos makes to that time

took it for a test drive today with 00joe in the starbo it sounds an animal.... just took it down the road a few times as its not mapped and only running a decat lol but still its been 10 months since i got behind the wheel of my starbo its good to be back in the saddle.. all oil and water lines are holding firmly temperatures all normal and sounds amazing runs very nicely vids n pics to come as soon as possible... welcome the new td05 hybrid starlet...

complete opposite adam i was so shocked it wanted to boost straight from the word go... my front mount piping was shortend by at least a few feet of pipe over the old one so the distance is minimal now also the ball bearing converson im sure helps... but i cannot say for sure as ive not run any proper boost through it all i can say is that where my mates td04 starlet proper lagged up to like 4 k and also i was in tommy rockets td05 when he had it that also hardcore lagged before boost this one does not seem to do any of that it drove like a ct9 does off boost totally shocked me idles fine also....

only work done inside engine is the oversize ross forged pistons, pauter rods and 2mm zep head gasket when fully rebuilt 12,000miles ago.... im finished now just need to map it, had my side exit welded on today its about 2 feet long lol sounds great cant wait to open it up after mapping, as for pics im sure my car is on members cars.... maybe it was the old forum not too sure but will put more up asap also of the engine bay. thank you.

can anyone tell me exactly where the gear box delimiter off burwashs site goes ive not put mine back in properly its readin kph again will sort it i know its only a plug in sumwhere but where???

booked in for the 3rd of september at engine advantages.... to be mapped and nos fiited and mapped in also... aim is 400bhp figure. i will post up the results. cheers

yes your the one who sold my mate mark that fucked cabby the engine was gone he says.. i still see it sometimes parked up still aint moved in years. you used to be on that site too.... its long since dead now though moved on to bigger and better things like td05 hybrids with nos n quiaffe lol why do you ask neways?

What? i didn't sell him no fucked cabby. That was mint, i never even thrashed it, i drove it about twice a week. Never had a problem with it ever.. and a year or so before the previous owner claimed to have had the engine overhauled. I had it checked and tested a local garage before i put it up for sale! lol
Its your mate who fucked it. The only reason i got rid of it was cos it was easy to steal outside my crap Uni and the S bend exhaust would never have got over the speed humps everyday. They used to all go drifting and doing burnouts right? the car isn't made for that. It was like a 1989 ford escort.

The car i have now is fucked that's why i refuse to sell it until i sell it fixed and honestly. That's why its sat on my drive for a year.

I asked because i was wondering what happened to that site.
