dont think im hear preaching about law or anything guys ive just seen the bad side of the stuff and thats with trained pros. as said if you wanted to do it dont do it in public as it could go wrong and hurt someone else. read up on how to do it abit and just be aware of the dangers and what not to open. also your best bet is to have the car running and open the the blue connection as red is the one thats has the liquid at high pressure. and just be careful ha if you need a run down man im here if you need a hand

hmmmm jam....lol.. ya this stuff is lethal in liquid form and harmfull to the atmosphere in gas form.. nackers and drug dealers are also harmfull to this planet

hahaha this made me laugh!
Mine had no gas left in it so nothing came out when I took it off.
Also I saw someone on here with a guide that was kind of iffy... They undid the connections and then tied a rope around the pipe and stood well back and yanked the rope until the pipe came off - was probably some our farmer type from Cork or something lol

thats what i was gonna do but as soon as the bolt was off the thing went pop! i landed about 10ft away after banging my head on the bonnet, the spanner i was using dissapeared and turned up 3 months later in the guy accross the roads lawnmower)

depending on the refrigerant the liquid can be at nearly 30bar haha time to get some stuff you dont want and have some fun

oh some motheres do have them.. if you want to be super carefull get a 2 litre bottle of what ever. stuff it with sponges.. drill a hole on the bottle cap and cut a bic pen in half and glue it into the hole on the bottle cap (remove ink and ballpoint).. drill one small hole on bottom of bottle to relieve pressure and just stick the pen down into the valve.. problem sorted

hahahaha :haha:.. another thing is tho that this valve is exactly like a tyre valve.. turn it slighty using a trye valve removal tool and let the pressurised gas out slowly..

Lets be honest mate, with the amount we all spend on our cars, for the sake of a few pound notes, just get it taken out at a garage.
I also contemplated letting it out myself, but didn't think it would be worth it!
Fortunately I knew someone who did it for free when I took mine out.
