Anyone else facing this prob?

I've been very carefully figuring out my costs, and i reckon it should work out quite well.

The standard sera performs very reasonably, but isn't really a performance car so was relatively cheap to buy. I reckon I've spent about £1200 on turbo bits, will spend another £2500 odd getting the rebuild & conversion done, but hot seras sell for plenty more then standard (on the very rare occaision a hot sera sells). Plus I'll have a load of redundant sera bits to sell which will make a couple of hundred back. I reckon if i'd decided to sell my car in its current state (needs a rebuild) I'd have spent a lot more getting the same performance from some other standard car.

Nonetheless, it has consumed pretty much all my income for the last year or so...

My wish list totals to around £3k and I've already spent around £4k on it (and it's not even finished!) Too much on a SR imo :( but nevermind!

If I could start again with the money in my hand I think I'd just go for a standard newer car such as a Golf TDI. Too late now though eh!

like what people say - "hearses (speeling unsure) dont come with tow-bars"
so like whatever you spend your money on in life you cant bring it with you when you die so just buy whatever makes you happy but dont put yourself into silly debts either

Had my GT 6 months, and it owes me £10,000 and its running 160bhp.

Another 2k later though, will see some power.

Modification is the dogs bollocks.
