I've been very carefully figuring out my costs, and i reckon it should work out quite well.
The standard sera performs very reasonably, but isn't really a performance car so was relatively cheap to buy. I reckon I've spent about £1200 on turbo bits, will spend another £2500 odd getting the rebuild & conversion done, but hot seras sell for plenty more then standard (on the very rare occaision a hot sera sells). Plus I'll have a load of redundant sera bits to sell which will make a couple of hundred back. I reckon if i'd decided to sell my car in its current state (needs a rebuild) I'd have spent a lot more getting the same performance from some other standard car.
Nonetheless, it has consumed pretty much all my income for the last year or so...
