Tein are shite on our shite roads.

I have a set of Type HA's handle extremely well and very comfy compared to my D2's on the last Starlet.

Just wish the Teins didnt shit themselves so easy :(

tbh the BC racing are better than Tein, teins are crap and last all of two minutes. For the price of them, instead of buying Tein, you should A:WAYS buy cusco as they are far superior.

But for the price of BC's you cannot go wrong, they are by far the best performer for the price range, and are used on a lot of drift/track cars with great success

i had a set of tanabee coilovers and switched to BC's and tbh i dont think the BC's are half as good as my old tanabee's so much so that im putting the tanabee's back on and going to sell the BC's.

The Bc's just dont seem to handle as well as the tanabees's my tires now scrub on the front slighty even though the ride hight has been set to higher than it was on the tanabee's and overall just doesnt seem as good.
hope this helps

bear in mind the tein hr's are pretty old but theres new versons available like the super street (costly though) so depends whih ones your talking bout

tein hr - old coilovers but can put shame on others
tein super streets- edfc compatible and god knws how much better than the older version

altough new coilovers are produced the tein hr's still am sure is on the top of the list ;) this shows how strong they are as being old they are still being used by many users,

altough its good to know reviews on other coilovers, to find out which is better someone with time needs to use both coilovers on the track and test them :drive: then give out results

Might help if you actually said what the teins are, ha's, hr's, super streets, flex, mono flex???

You can't just compare tein's and bc's without comparing the excat models.

My opinion is different suspension suit different people. Driving styles/supension suit people differently.

One will say Tein the other will say BC.

They will both perform 100% better then stock suspension and both have good reputation for performing.

There isnt a better suspension as such unless the other one is shit. Which isnt the case. Saying that one might be slightly better for a particular track with a fully competent driver.

If your happy with the BC then why do you want to concider? Do you need a better coilover for your purpose?
