coilovers vs koni's

Don't forget Rick you could get some Buddy Clubs JR's with 12kg springs which wouldn't work on the road at all, see my point, yours are great as there 6kg and what you need but they could come with another spring rate, depends what you choose and what you know :)

sorry i was quoting my choice of coilover, not which setup he should buy.

as i have stated previously, i dont beleive there is 1 single best setup, its all down to the individual.

the best all round option is a shock and spring combo (preferably with adjustable shocks, as the ones from japan are silly stiff)

i only went for coilovers cos i wanted pub talk, and to replace the coilovers that were on the car.

My brother had Konis on his old SR and I think they are awesome shocks. I wish I had swapped them with mine before he sold his car!

I have also sat in a car with D2's a few times.

I would personally have the Konis for everyday use.

Stop dissing my D2's Idrees :D

Remember, I run my D2's on almost MAX hard setting. Take note ;)

And again..springs can also be changed. Also, I have the old harsher springs than what is provided with the new D2's now.

cheers all for great info.
also toby you are like a book. lol.
sx_turbo currently have trd shocks not sure on the springs but think they are trd, i wouldnt change them but am only changing them as they are leaking. i havent got £1000 for coilovers either toby we not all as rich as you, lol so think i will be looking in to some koni's.
also with uprated shocks is the height dependant on the spring?
cheers
