ct9a mixing fuel and water

hey guys, my ct9b from my ep91 started leakn oil terribly and found a smashed donor ep82. turbo looked fine just needed to be oiled a bit turbines were stiff.but when the mechanic started the car the dipstick was white after a few mins of idling n mild reving. any ideas if there is something done wrongly or if i can takeparts frm te ct9a n replace on ct9b?

If anything it will be mixing oil and coolant.

I had a hybrid that did this although in my case it was a clear manufacturing fault of some muppet not sealing the oil chamber and water chambers from each other. If your secondhand unit is doing this I would hazard a guess the impact it suffered may have damaged the turbo internally.

The inlet side and exhaust housing should be salvagable but I wouldn't use the central cartridge again.

Also worth mentioning that if your oil and water has mixed you need to flush both systems out entirely until clean. Oil in the coolant is bad as it will damage seals, water in the oil is bad as it will corrode metal.

My experience of this was 'messy'.. NOT what you want to see after fitting a hybrid:

thanx alot for the info Jay. so the parts that are salvageable ...can i use them on the ct9b turbo to sought out the oil leak. im not to clued up on turbos but i know seeing lots of oil in my intercooler says the turbo is leakn oil

Can anyone please post a pic of the gasket that is warn out when oil is fed into the intercooler. :(

ok pulled turbo apart and there a was no oil in the water chamber or vice versa. Seems my cylinder head is warped. darnit luckily got a spare engine.
