ek9 owners- are you happy?

so worth the dollar then Gee? Im guna start saving as soon as I get back from hols n move in with the old man. How much did u pay for yours?
I still think starlets are awesome too, I've just always wanted an ek9 and now that Ive got a chance to stack the cash 4 1 I think I will so long as the test drive makes me happy lol

The EK9 and the DC2 are a very close comparison.

The DC2 is better value for money and comes with the better engine. The B16B in the EK9 is basically a destroked B18C.

The reason I went for the EK9 is because it is more rare here, I prefer the styling and have no reason to have a bigger car.

I am buying a B18C today anyway so I have the best of both worlds.

Regardless if you bought an EK9 or DC2 your getting a cracking car either way.

Cons.
Not as fast. But there are things to do to make it quick.
That's a I can think of.

All round I think they are wonderful cars.

Plus I think unless you got a stupid starletliene dan3sgte or gaz ep85's or abbotts etc etc you will just blend IN with the other million Starlets that seem to be appearing. Now this will offend bit they are now becoming the new Saco to the boy racers. Like 200sx's are taking over from scoobies. They are everywhere.

ek9s nice dc2 teg nice. id consider those two mate.

and just a pointer from anyone posting from an NI/irish base, the honda vti/ek9/teg etc are the scum of the road over here, we have more vti's on Rplates than fiesta st's/corsa's etc etc/ mint ones arent even rare lol

folk buy these at 18/19 after there first car, drive them like knobby chavs and then sell them or crash them.

pretty sure the rare factor does still exist in mainland UK cause i always get shot down for not liking these cars and calling them comman.

personally i actually LIKE crx's.

Ha Ha the UK has always been one step behind Ireland in car trends. there are lots and lots of em over here and even more Integras. on a day to day basis i'll see 5 or 6 Integra Type R's and Civics Type R's or Type 1.3's to every 1 glanza i see. garenteed.

Starlets are awsome cars don't get me wrong. But there are better things out there than a ct9.

Drive an ek. You will like it.

turbo size dependant yes it can change time wise, but powerwise the difference will be greater, obviously there is extremes that buck the trend.

vti civic about 125ishbhp - 160 on cam.

gt @1bar about 90bhp - 170 on boost.
