Thought i`d start a thread on my forge build thats kicking off now, the cars mainly built for quarter mile racing

Current spec:
Speedvision td04 kit externally gated
Exedy clutch
Trd lsd
Kms managment coil pack converted
ect ect

New spec:
Wossner pistons
Pauter rods
ARP bolts
560cc injectors
225 fuel pump
modded inlet with a bigger throttle body (reason for that it has a tps that supports my ecu)
Td05 turbo
genuine toyota engine set i sent back the pattern part kit

once run in and built im pretty much going to go balls out on the turbo get past the 300bhp hopefully. once its done i want to change all my engine pipes to green get a ally rad powder coat the rocker cover green give the bay a nice tidy up and get a roll cage fitted

watch this space, all the works getting done by a very good mate of mine at ignition advantages who will also map it

does anywhere know where i can get powercoating done in the london/essex area? and a rough price for a rocker cover?

Theres a company called banhams in basildon we use them for powder coating at work. looking about 40 he said to do mine! If not theres wickford powder coaters on shotgate ind estate

ordered green paint same as my wheels doing the rockercover strut brace, would spraying the intercooler be ott? i got green intercooler pipes coming too

Very nice. I got my intercooler sprayed black for a stealth look, spraying it green is different so go for it or photoshop it first and see if you like it.

cheers mate i got a spare cooler that has a lil crack might spray that hold it up see what it looks like, plus my car dont really do steath looks abit bait lol ive had it for 5 years people know the score now lol

Tomorrow the glanza goes in and by the end of the week it will be forged and i`ll get cracking on the running in miles hopefully all goes smooth, i sprayed my rockercover green just in the process of doing my strut brace ordered green intercooler pipes and vac pipes so will be a nice change to the bay. Also got my inlet back from the machinest clarke at ignition advantages found a nice big throttle body and sent it off to thurston engineering to be made to fit my inlet so the next few days are going to be intersting

cheers mate, should be back out friday to do the running in miles and map the life out of it! see what its like at 1.8 bar im looking into an 18g turbo but i`ll see how laggy this 16g is, when do i get to the point i need an arp stud kit?

loving the green rocker cover looks like a " beast coming from the east "
