10 litres is just about under half a tank. I put £16 in last time and it was just over half a tank. Shell Optimax 100.9p

omg u dissing a 3 litre lol... my 3 litre single cam turbo motor can do a 10 second pass on the strip and it is great on fuel around town..... just the built auto and big torque converter dont like town so much and heat up ...:( gets 500km to 60 litres.... not bad for a 1.4 tonne car...... starry gets alot better outta its 240hp atw though 500km per 35 litres is nuthing to complain about in a pretty well modified car i guess....

Without boosting it (hi boost setting) and stock boostpressure I did 15.71 km / 1 litre last time I filled the tank up. So it is possible to get good mileage!
When you start the car and let it warm up, does it stink of petrol out the exhaust? When you give it a good acceleration run, and someone drives behind you, does the exhaust smoke black btw?

Yeah exactly, a glanza also takes 45 litres by the way not 40.
However a GT Turbo only takes about 35 as they have a smaller tank.

THe fuel light comes on in glanza's (or mine at least) when roughly 10 litres left.

Well, when my fuel light comes on I have about 14 litres in it.
When I put 10 litres back in the tank the fuel gauge says it's half full again. Most accurate way I measure it is to fill the tank up completely. Drive it, then fill it up again.
Then you get a good indication of the mileage.

i havent had her bk on the road long an i dont seem to have an rnning probs yet...
i have a JAM ECU hun x

The JAM ecu is self learning so if you have made a few changes to the engine mods it might be readjusting itself to adapt to those mods. If it's not been on the road long either, that could be it?

The fuel tank is 47 litres on these cars, or there abouts. From the bottom line of the guage, the "E" line for want of a better phrase, it sould take about 37 litres to fill it ti the neck.

Most mildly tuned EP`s will get between 350 to 450 KM`s out of that much fuel if running correctly.

A Jam ecu will fuel more, especially at low rev driving, thats the way they appear to be set up, but your full tank to 75 mile round trip is way out.

How much fuel does it take for you to fill it up when you think it is empty? If its more than £15 then there is something wrong and I would take it back to the last person who worked on it, especially if you had work done like a timing belt on.
