the paint is only as good as the sprayer though peep

a shit sprayer can make good expensive paint look shit still.

another good point! the amount of times we have seen cars come in that have had ££££'s spent on the paint and bodywork only to have an idiot screw the painting up!!!

What are your preferences mate? Colour choice is a very personal decision. It's going to make a huge difference on who will appreciate the car and how well it will be received.

Understated and subtle?

A factory colour or something more exotic?

Brash and Bold?

both midnight purple, and bayside blue or extremely similar colours have been done before.

best think to do, is to go down ur local paint shop, and grab some colour charts of the type of paint you want, i.e metallic, gloss, pearlescent etc etc

I think a gunmetal grey could look awesome, but maybe not as unique as you would like it.

A light shade of midnight purple imo (comes in three variants which are all very similar but I'd go for the lightest one, which is still kinda dark but you know what I mean!)

It's like the one glanzanut posted in other words.

That pretty much rules out all the stock colours and any dark or subtle metallics from the game then mate.

There is an obvious line to be drawn between good headturning and bad.

You could also aim to recreate a legendary EP from the past with a red TOMS replica or go with a blue Picaku or even a Golden HRF offering.
