Hi guys and girls i'm Jay, thought i would do a formal introduction.
Dont currently own a starlet but looking at getting one.
I drive an mr2 turbo that i have had for 4 years which is a long term project for me.

There are times though when i have had to take the car off the road and have bought another car as a runabout.
Last had an E46 325i, then a rover diesel before that (was commuting 150 miles a day) and hope to get a starlet this time but as a keeper,
Not sure which yet, i prefer the looks of the ep91 (but they look a bit like a corsa) and the lighter weight of the ep82 (but they look a bit like a nova, sorry guys:haha:)
Always do my own work on my cars and worked at a toyota specialist for a while (mainly mr2's, few supras and celicas) and these look farily easy to work on in comparison.
Anyways, been having a look around and learning a thing or 2, great forum, hope to be around for a while.
Jay

sorry, hope that didnt offend anybody, just having a laugh :haha:
thanks for the welcome though
good to see most of you guys are in to the performance side and not as much in to body kits as i thought you might be
been having a look through the garage, some very tastefully modified cars indeed and looking at the power to weight camparison table on the other site, looks like a stage 1 modified gt or glanza should be a very potent weapon

in addition to the above first post -
after trying a few other brands and having had the oportunity to work on toyotas for a while i think its safe to say i am a toyota fan and will be sticking with the brand from now on
love the reliability and easily available parts, love how easy some of them are to work on but more than anything i love how swappable everything is and how over engineered most of the performance engines are, ie - engine/gearbox swaps, straight swaps for fuel parts, driveshafts, calipers etc
if only the dealers where not so awquard :)
