Did any one go and talk to that lad who was running the 13's in the silver/blue glanza? me and my mate asked him what he was running he just said TD04 on stock internals on EMB and 1.4 BAR!!! i was like mate how the hell have your rods not tried to escape! he always had his laptop plugged into his EMB you could of mistaken it for a derv the amount of sut it was chucking out! fair play to him though they were decent times!

did you run on the sunday Dan? i defo saw some ek9's so you must have been 1 lol, a couple of friends i came up with were runnin too, 12.3 skyline and the pink evo 5 she ran a 12.9 on her last run. pretty good.

Nah i run on the Saturday Ad.... Really humid day, felt like it was sucking the power out of the car especially higher up.

Wow 12.3, thats really fast! How much power did the skyline have?

Haha! They were great :p

Really good to have you about though man, good laugh. Shame you live so far.

yeah it was a fair trek i used just over £100 of petrol. going home was horrible haha. I really dont think i could have done it in the 85, im glad i had the teg to go in, its really comfy even on those long journeys.

Yeah i can imagine. Ive done leeds a few times and that only 250miles there so even less then what you did! At least you where there from Friday so breaks it up quite nicely.

I think that Santa pod should have organised the quarter mile runs a bit better i run on my own twice. I asked a few times to run with my mate's but they kept saying were to busy :(

Did anybody notice that as soon as you were lined on the line the lights changed really fast. Dont remember it being like this last year

I wanna improve on my quarter mile times which is a good thing :) but i think the vf22 turbo will have to go my best was a 15.6 and my trap speed was 102mph. My dad got a 15 with a trap speed of 89mph CT9 turbo tho. My mates filmed my runs and in every video car was dead slow off the line.

yer but it doesnt matter how quick you leave the line dude. you should take your time and compose yourself and then launch when your ready.
Reaction times only count when your competing in a championship.

Mark if you wanna practice more then i highley recommend you go to Shakespeare county raceway. Much better set up than SantaPod and better organised for the quarter.

your not launching hard enough then, use the l/c drop the clutch and half throttle shift up the gears

i must admit i have been to a few jap shows, with SXOC, but this year was one of the worse they have had (it would be when its the first year im on the stand in my own car!) i noticed some stands were even empty, at least ours wasnt! maybe the fact Goodwood festival of speed was on that day, had something to do with the poor attendance from other clubs.

thanks to sammie for organising the stand, tickets, passes, and the free stickers and lanyards! thanks very much :) it was really nice to meet you, finally!

hope to see you all again soon :drive:
