If you dont plan on going for a big spec I would get, Boost, Oil temperature and Oil pressure gauges as the wideband isnt that easy to install and isnt really needed for everyday use as long as the car is setup on the rollers.

Knock links are easy to install, I done mine in a hour or so and have the knock link display behind my steering wheel on the surround, I dont have a wideband but if things did go bad the knock link should light up like a christmas tree anyway :)

Cheers mate you got any pics of your Knock link?

You can also wire them into a dash light which comes on when you put the lights on, that way the light in the gauge will only come on when you put the lights on :)

is that easy to do mate? and whats the best boost guage to get mechanical or the other type?

There will be a sensor that connects on where a manual guage would connect to. Then from that 2 wires will run to the back of the guage to give it the boost signal.

Probably need to connect 12 volts to the guage through the ignition and one for the lights as well.
