need a contract phone what to get???

Well its time for a contract phone. im spending a fortune on payngo. ive been looking at getting an n96 but ive never used them before are they any good.

the sort of tariff i want is unlimited texts with about 600 minutes. i mainly text people not a huge of talking on the phone for hours on end really. oh and i want to stay with o2 really and spend around £35 a month.

What do you guys think?

yeah that sounds about right mate i pay 40 with 02 for 1200mins and unlimited text's so yeah should be alright, n96's seem alright not personaly owned one but have mates with them.

phone up for better deals mate and it depends what your after phone wise im hoping to get a nokia e71 next or a blckberry dno why coz i'll never email off it lol

Thats what i'm getting next month when my current contract runs out.

Although the cost of the phone is subsidised (spelling?) by o2 they are still quite expensive.

Get an lg gw520, it has a qerty keyboard which is good for texts and on mobiles.co.uk or something it's like 15 quid a month for unlimited texts and 100 minutes. Well it was when I was looking for a phone due to orange changing stuff and everyone cancelling :)

i agree get the samsung jet good phone =) , also the n96 is crap i have one and tbh there very slow , always crashing , need endless software updates , but if you like the high spec gadget stuff its good as it like a mini computer in your pocket ,

I'm with Vodafone. Got a Nokia 6303 which I really like. £25 a month, 600 mins & unlimited texts. Enough for me!

ive got an e71 from 3, i think it was a one off promotion ,not sure though
300mins, unlimited messages,unlimited internet £20 a month,skype, 18 month contract

Iv personally owned quite a few nokia n series phones (n73,n80,n90,n91,n95,n96 and now n97) out of them all personally the best phone i would say was the n80.the build strength of the phone was amazing...not to mention the stable firmware.

The nokia n96 i had always had firmware issues (unless you know how to update firmware yourself and backup youir stuff always personally i would not recommend it) are you wanting a good nokia? If so why not wait a few months and get the nokia n900 when it comes out? Google for full spec list on that phone bud but do not get the n96 unless you like fiddling with your phone always.
