hi, i'm new to this site and would like some info on the 5 EFI engine, i'm having trouble with m fuel injectors..
the injectors won't open when the engine has to start... i've tested the injectors seperatly and they function fine without gasoline in them, but when the fuelpump sends the gasoline to the injectors, they won't open and continue the proses..
the ECU has been checked and it is also working properly...

i'm clueless to what the problem might be..

Hello and welcome, the injectors and coilpack are both fed from the AM2 fuse in the engine bay fuse box, if you dont have 12 volts at 1 side of the injector plugs and the 2 pin connector on the coilpack with the ignition at position 2 then its probably that.

well, i bought the fuse but the injectors still won't open..
they have electricity on them plus the rest of the engine works perfectly fine so i'm really curious as to what is causing this problem...

If the ECU is not pulsing the injectors then its a signal problem to that, check through this section for drawings and info that might help and if you post in the tecnical section there will be more views and answers.
