No heating?

Another little problem lol

Dont seem to have much if any heating from the blowers..

Can put it on hot and cold and put it on full whack and nothing from the blowers...

If i put it on the windscreen heater which i have to do on these cold mornings, it take a little while but can feel a little heat through the windscreen heater vents which eventually does clear the windscreen.

The aircon unit was removed when the dash was out also, hope i dont have to take the dash out again :(

flush out the heater matrix via the two pipes on the bulkhead

either get some rad flush in it or attach a hose pipe to 1 end and catch with a bucket at the other ;)

that shud make it better

cheers lads will give that ago. haha another problem to sort, all fun and games lol
Would be nice if its something simple as that, as i dont fancy taking dash out again.

Do you mean volume of air or amount of heat?

If you mean amount of heat as in the fans are working fine and lots of air is being pushed through, have a look under your dash near the rod that moves the flap for hot ait to be directed and make sure that rod is still connected into the plastic bit, as my heaters where rubbish and I thought it was a coolent air lock but had a look and it was the slider bar that goes from hot or cold that had come loose.

both mate, almost no heat and no volume, its like the controls arnt working, will check behind dash, tomorrow god damn car!!! lol

im pretty sure i checked it worked when i put the dash in and all was ok.
but now nothing, no noise no air

right well then its something simple dude check the fuses and connections. if the dash has to come back out it will be a pain but at least you eliminate areas that could be the issue

not much luck this week at all have ya. im in the same boat i fix one and two more pop up

Here is a drawing for the UK spec EP91 heating system. It wont be exactly the same but it will give you a good idea what to look at. If its only going on low fan then have a look at the blower resistor towards the bottom of the picture.

Anyone know which fuse is for the heater controls??

Just taken the centre console apart and everything seems ok, the temp control works i think.... it moves left to right and you can hear the heater matrix moving...

But the actual heater volume control is electrical it seems, which fuse for that?

Just need to sort this as i dont even want to drive the car, as its fooking freezing outside!!!!!!
