This is just going around in circles. I dont think anyone has an issue with you opening this thread monka its more your tone. It would suggest to a new member that Dave has sold you something and is messing you about.

I think everyone is defending Dave because they know that if Dave made a mistake he would rectify it if you phoned, emailed, PM'd or got in touch on MSN etc.

The fact of the matter is you shouldnt have to but the reality of the matter is sometimes things go wrong and in those instances you can give people the opportunity to put them right or you can go public on the forum and make an issue out of it... the choice is yours and you made your choice. Going public obviously means the general public will have the ability to comment on the situation regardless of if they agree with you or not.

People have been experiencing issues getting in contact with some other traders when the wrong parts or no parts have been sent, me included. The reason members back people up when they open threads about this is because it is unacceptable to take someones money and then vanish and leave them trying to contact you for days on end, to my knowledge Dave has not done this.

My advice to anyone experiencing issues with a trader is this:
-contact the trader directly
-if you do not get a satisfactory outcome email admin@toyotagtturbo.com with full detials
-Once everything is sorted leave your sales feedback

No one is trying to silence anyone but you have to remember that the business a lot of members get from here is their livelihood and nobody wants to damage that especially not the trader so their service is usually top notch.

I think this is sorted now and the comments just seem to be going round and round so Ill lock it up.

Glad you got sorted but to be honest there was never a doubt in my mind Dave would sort you out.
 
This was sorted out quite easily when I phoned Dan today and I hope he is satisfied with the outcome.

My main concern was that the thread made it look like I had been messing him about for 3 months over a rad cap, something I would never do.

It turns out that it was Toytuning who messed him about for 3 months and unfortunately Dan's frustrations were vented at me. This is something we see a lot of lately.

I have absolutely no problem with Dan as a customer, things just could have been worded better, no harm done.

To be honest if I waited 3 months for a radiator cap from Toytuning or anything else for that matter, I would be more than a little pissed!!
