UPDaTTE ---- Matt Oli just phoned tdi and they said they can do it so i dont get whats goiong on here??

unless they are thinking they cant lock it in gear as we disccussed the other night kelly, thinking it wont hold it in 2nd gear and just change gear on its own? which if it doesnt have this feature and i can understand, but this is not the scenario with stalret autos.

I know but i explained this to Matt before i got the message saying that i stil cant go on.

Now Oli has phoned and explained and they said its fine.

i would go, and would really love to go, but i have items to fit to my car that need doing beofre i can go on rr, i have a fpr to fit, boost guage, actuator and fcd to fit, can anyone do it to help me out as im shit with these cars, CASH PAID. im based in cumbria (lake district)

Drive down in the morning, we'll help fit the parts, go on rr as one of the last of the day. Those parts will be on in a flash. I'm sure I won't be the only one willing to help.

wicked, u sure matey?? i dont want to be a pain in the arse but i got fuck all tools or out to out them on, im clueless with these cars.
i got a hks actuator (wanting to run 1 bar)
manifold,
rrfpr (cheap one with dial tho)
hks fcd,
mushroom filter ,
boost guage to monitor boost,
using factory tmic what sort of power will i be looking at??

Theres alot of confusion about if the Autos are allowed on the rollers ? Depending on who we speak to down there we seem to be getting different answers ??? It's looking like a yes because Kelly has spoke to TDi and they have said they can do them. I'm waiting for a phone back to confirm this. Will keep everyone informed.

Will be a good day, Me, Mike, Matt and Broomy will be there from about 10 setting the gazebo up, If anyone want's NGK Iridium Plugs, Oil Catch Tank Kit's or Heat Reflective tape we can bring the small items like these if required.

Auto Update

TDi have just rang me to say that unfortunetly the Autos do not work on there Dyno. The reason is because there Dyno calculates power at the flywheel, so once the car has been ran in its direct drive gear (4th) it needs to be put into neutral for the run down so the dyo can calculate the power.

Thats pretty much what the guy told me. Sorry to the people with autos. Still going to be food tho :)
