Why do the mods have to check my for sale Add before i can post up a part for sale !! Im fully paid up member

you also need a min of 50 posts too before your allow to post anything up for sale.

if you had posts from he old site, tell a mod, they'll update the post count and it'll be fixed

its because there has been a lot of people ripping people off recently.

so the site had to do something about, so the mods and the site members agreed that would be the best way to sort it.

its not something any of us like having to do as it slows down peoples ads being posted and also makes more work for us but it allows us to make sure everything is above board BEFORE the ad is seen by members.

thats not really the idea... Spamming will get your post count reduced.

Its 50 posts so people get to know you and you are somewhat an established member.

It doesnt really work if someone comes on and posts "lol" 50 times

also ur posts only count in some threads. i.e posting in here does not increase ur post count

Just do what Cal did and lie to a mod about your previous post count ;p

It's also to discourage people paying the fee and jumping straight into the classified section... After all, even the fee for full site access is still a cost effective way of advertising...

At the end of the day, we're trying to do what we can to stop scammers and dodgy people advertising their tat on here. We can't guarantee everything is above board, but we do what we can...

fair enough Im happy with that... but i would still like my add placed as i have over 50 posts on the old forum.. im not going to get 50 posts on this forum as i no longer own a starlet gt.. so just need to sell what i have left
