EBC red are ceramic so they take longer to warm up, something like Mintex 1144 is a nice happy medium or the Sard type A if you can stretch :)

A lad on the site is getting lots of spacers made up for this set up, he might have them next week sometime.

I will let him know you are interested and get him to contact you. If he wants to advertise he can. I dont want to be responsible for him getting bombarded with PM`s!!

To be honest with 3mm spacers you probably won't need longer studs, anything more and you might.

OK, got the calipers with carriers.

Pictures below, but just a few questions.

There seems to be a lot of oil on the calipers. So, do calipers hold oil anywhere or could this just be where they were kept in storgage or crap from the road?

One of the rubber seals have split. Does this need to be replaced?

There are a few holes for studs etc on the carriers. Do I need more bolts a long with the extended studs?

And, what is the best way to clean these up and get rid of the rust?

just looks like brake fluid to me mate. only way to get that seal is as part of a rebuild kit unless toyota sell it seperate. i would just leave it until such time as you want or need to rebuild them.

use the same bolts as on std caliper to bolt carrier to hub. you should have got the bolts that go from carrier to caliper with the set up.

Everything I got is in the picture mate :(

So I need the bolts from the carriers to the calipers then? Guess I will order them from Toyota.

So the seal should be fine then?

Cheers.

A wire brush attachment to a drill, thats what I used. Just be cautious around the boots.
