ST185 2 POT Brake Setup

Wow, that sounds like a easy swap! I have a 1990 Celica ST185, but it has the big diameter brakes. I might have a look at that just for the fun when winter calms.

So what parts do i actually need to do this?

St185 Caliper + carrier
St185 discs drilled for 4stud
St185 Pads (pref mintex)
Possibly longer studs?

And some 3mm spacers, that a kind lad on here has got made up for you all if you need them.

Gee an answer to your questions about the discs. I drilled mine, took the car to a track day at Kirkiston. That track has 2 long straights and the smoke was flying off my brakes when I came in a couple of times. Checked the discs late and there was no defects in them. I am happy with their strength after drilling them.

is there anyway you can use uprated strarlet disc's with these calipers

You wouldnt want to use starlet discs as they are a pathetic 18mm thick.
