You should be changing the oil every 3000 miles if thats what you mean by servicing the engine.;)

been very tempted to strip but but not really after every last bit of performance atm its just a road car

I was told 5-6000 was fine for oil changes maybe il start doin it every 4000 then oh well engine is still healthy.Oh n jay at 200 bhp did that gearbox give up the go or was it ok cheers.

why what mods have you all got on your autos?


I dont like the feel of starlets all stripped out i like the weight in the rear! Bens is all stripped out very noisy! been driving it to work for last 2weeks coz my car having bits fitted. But the weight of the full roll cage in now feels better :)

yeh it is a little to lite on the back end now n the noise is loud.Ive got bout 170 bhp in my gt.What bhp yours guna have kelly after all your new bits.

I have no idea lol.

As long as it feels good on road i dont care :) I will go to the rollers when its all on and see. But since ive been running 8psi for ages im sure it will feel good :) I have the emanage to go on next and need to turn up the boost past the wastegate spring pressure :)

and AUTO_EP82 what spec you running to get up to 170-180 bhp out of yours?

Auto ep82 - thankyou :) just waiting for some mikalow clamps arrive off ebay and a new rad fan for the fmic and i should be good to go for now :) what goodies have u got already and what are you planning to buy?

thommlee1981 - the new kit is all on now :) fits perfectly only prob with the auto's , is my new fmic fouls the rad fan so i just ordered a new spal rad off ebay.

do what i done and take everything out, just leave the rear seat which are cushioned and put rear belts in... all that weighs no more then 7KG i can assure that and you still have the luxury of rear passengers... I dont have any door cards etc....

Acceleration wise i cant see much of a difference at all.... then again i do have a larger engine to pull the car through.....

I bit of weight is nice in a road car, which im only starting to realize now lol

I felt a difference with the interior stripped. Back end was a bit more twitchy, but braces sorted that out.

Ive got all the supporting mods to run a hybrid and running 1 bar my bhp should be around 170 but the dyno aparently could not work out the fly horse power because its an auto.And kelly hope you get your car sorted soon would like to see it at santa pod in june i will be there in mine.

I wont be at santapod im afraid, although i would like to go to shakespeare with my car at some point :) be good to see the time difference from her first ever stock run :)

Ive been on the dyno with no probs where did you go?

The place that does all my work they said because its an outo they can give a wheel horse power reading but not fly.What whp you get then your fhp.And you should go to pod for the japshow just dont run i dident see your car at japfest.

My car wasn't at Japfest coz Sacha had send me a new kit out and i didnt get in time to fit hopefully providing my new rad fan arrives today should be on road tonight :)

I went pod loads last year its not that great imo. Shakespeare is much better place for gettin on the strip. I put my auto on dyno running 8psi :( she made 123 at fly and 99.9 at the wheels bless!

but least i get see difference the kit has made when i go back!

what bar was that sorry dont no psi lol.Mine made 130 at the wheels but that was when it wasent running rite should be bout 135-140 bhp at the wheels now its sorted out.

Its a new manifold which enables me to run external wastegate, new downpipe, the tial external wastegate, new turbo oil line and i have a fmic now too. I have at 0.80bar spring for the wastegate so just going to run off the spring pressure for now until i can afford a boost controller to use with my emanage.
